Located along the neighborhood of River North, Blue Chicago on Clark is the most popular. Female singers primarily feature rhythm and blues. Most of the bar’s songs are soulful. There is also a dance floor for those people who can resist to go with the slow beat.

Green Mill Cocktail lounge in North Broadway Avenue comes next. Music is livelier than Blue Chicago. Jazz and contemporary make diners swing on the dance floor. Poetry readings also entertain guests every Sunday. It keeps alive the era of 1920s.

Checkerboard Lounge is the 3rd most visited tavern. It can be found in South Harper Avenue. It became fully operational in 1972. Southside rhythm and blues is the main attraction. Card games are added to have full entertainment.

Located in North Lasted Street, B.L.U.E.S. has the same genre with Blue Chicago. Fun time starts at 8:00pm to 2:00 every Sunday to Friday. Happy hour is extended to 3:00am during Saturday.

Andy’s Jazz Club in East Hubbard Street has the same music as Green Mill. But, it becomes distinct because live acts are played at noon time and after five in he afternoon. Traditional Chicago jazz and swing boost the energy of the bar.

If you want more interactions while staying at a bar in Chicago, these two places will certainly work for you: The Drawing Room and Le Bar. The first bar was opened in 2007. Since then, it has created all manner of innovative drink sessions for its guest. The black bar draws strength from its liquid libations from punch bowls, hand crafted cocktails, and handmade sodas. The bar seems to have trained their staff to create a natural interaction with their guests. Try ordering one cocktail tableside and you will know how certain flavours are combined and why. This makes the whole drinking experience more personal and come to think of it… informative. Try their signature menu The Sea, The Monk, and The Old Man. You can also ask the bartender to give it a twist of ½ ounce of Benedictine with chilled prosecco for a more interesting blend.
